Aim of the Conference

The aim of the conference is to provide a multilingual, international platform for exploration and exchange of research findings, perspectives, and experience in the field of discourse and conversation analysis across communicative and cultural contexts. The event will bring together academics, researchers, practitioners, and students concerned with the analysis of language in use. Special emphasis will be given to empirical research on manifestation of mental representations in interaction.

We invite papers on all topics related to how mental representations get surfaced, performed, and accomplished in interactional contexts including, but not limited to:

•    The easiest way to travel from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Łódź is by train. Trains from Warsaw to Łódź are fast and frequent, but they need to be taken from the centre of Warsaw. There is a direct bus connection between Warsaw Airport and Warsaw Central Railway Station, called Warsaw Airport Transfer.
•    The journey from Warsaw Central Railway Station to Łódź Widzew Station or Łódź Kaliska Station lasts approximately 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes respectively.
•    To reach the University of Łódź Conference Centre, it is best to take a taxi. Taxi fare from both railway stations in Łódź should be around 25 PLN.

Prowadzę dyskusję na tematy biblijne i podczas dyskusji wyszło, że różne osoby mają różne poglądy na sens zdania, zapisanego w Piśmie Świętym. Chodzi konkretnie o zdanie zawarte w Ewangelii Mateusza (Mt 1: 25)
„Ale nie obcował z nią, dopóki nie powiła syna, i nadał mu imię Jezus” lub (w innym przekładzie) „Ale nie zbliżał się do niej do czasu, aż porodziła syna i nadał mu imię Jezus”.

Pytanie brzmi. Czy z tak skonstruowanego zdania można wnioskować, że Józef po narodzeniu Jezusa współżył (ginosko to z greckiego słowo znaczące „poznał” i użyte jest w kontekście współżycia seksualnego)  z Marią? Część osób uważa, że w języku polskim tak skonstruowane zdanie oznacza, że po narodzinach Jezusa Józef zbliżył się do Maryi. Natomiast cześć osób (znaczna większość) twierdzi, że z tak skonstruowanego zdania absolutnie  nie można tego wywnioskować i sugerowanie czegoś takiego jest błędem z punktu widzenia języka polskiego.

Stąd właśnie moje zapytanie. Jak to jest? Kto ma rację? Bardzo zależy mi na państwa pomocy. Prosiłabym też o neutralność i interpretowanie tego zdania tylko pod katem języka polskiego, niezależnie od wiary i przekonań religijnych.  Szczególnie zależy mi na opinii ludzi, których praca jest w jakiś sposób związana z językiem polskim, ale oczywiście nie tylko.

Conference Theme

The conference will offer a forum for the presentation of multidisciplinary perspectives on the concept of time and its embodied, phenomenological experience as expressed in diverse systems, above all human language, and should thus be of interest to students and researchers in philosophy, anthropology and psychology of time. Also welcome are scholars who investigate temporal experience, time expressions and categorization in language and literature, including metaphor and figurative language, learning-acquisition of temporal concepts as well as annotation and identification of temporal structures in language corpora. In addition, the organizers hope to attract researchers who propose cognitive, formal and other models of time and time-related dimensions in the framework of event structures. Presentations pertaining to the construal and coding of events in linguistic or non-linguistic narrative, gestures and other forms of human communication systems would be relevant.

Each individual paper (including discussion) will be alloted a 30-minute slot.

A selection of papers will be published by an international publisher.

Mam do Państwa pytanie, w tym roku piszę prace magisterską i mam dwa tematy do wyboru: pierwszy o fałszywych przyjacielach tłumacza i mam to połączyć z językoznastwem kognitywistycznym, w drugim temacie powinnam wykazać luki w tłumaczeniach na przykładzie fałszywych przyjaciołach. I mam do Was ogromną prośbe, gdyż już teraz muszę wybrać jeden z tych dwóch tematów i proszę o pomoc, który z tych tematów byłby lepszy? Ka...żdego kandydata konkursu prosimy o zapoznanie się z regulaminem. Jest to niezbędne do poprawnego wypełnienia zgłoszenia.

Eliminacje odbędą się w czterech kategoriach:
- tanecznej,
- muzycznej soliści,
- muzycznej zespoły
- teatralnej

Kolejność przesłuchań ujęta została w harmonogramie.

Jury powołane przez organizatorów to znane i cenione osoby na polskiej arenie artystycznej, m.in. Robert Janowski, Andrzej Deskur czy Piotr Jagielski. Jurorzy dokonają ostatecznej oceny młody zdolnych i wyłonią zwycięzców.

Nagrodą główną w eliminacjach jest udział w bydgoskim finale oraz wiele inny atrakcji, zaś dla laureatów II i III miejsca przewidziano nagrody rzeczowe.
Dodatkową atrakcją toruńskich eliminacji będzie koncert Ewy Farnej. Piosenkarka zaśpiewa 30 września o godzinie 20:30 na Rynku w Toruniu. Przed gwiazdą wystąpią laureaci kategorii muzycznej zespoły, soliści oraz tanecznej. Nastąpi także wręczenie nagród z wymienionych kategorii.
